Improve your upload experience

When uploading files to the FACT platform, you may encounter interruptions due to the browser's memory saver mode, especially when dealing with large files or slower upload speeds. By adding FACT to the exclusion list, you ensure the upload process remains uninterrupted regardless of the data size or network speed.

Google Chrome

Perform these steps to exclude FACT from the Memory Saver feature in Google Chrome.

1. In Google Chrome, open the menu in the top-right corner of the browser window and select Settings.
   The Settings page opens.
2. Select Performance in the left panel.
3. In the Memory section, click Add to the right of Always keep these sites active.
   The Add sites dialog box opens.
4. Click the Add sites manually tab.
5. Enter https://portal.adolus.com/ in the field provided and click Add.
   The dialog box closes and the FACT URL displays in the Always keep these sites active list.
   
   

Microsoft Edge

Perform these steps to exclude FACT from the Efficiency feature in Microsoft Edge.

1. In Microsoft Edge, open the menu in the top-right corner of the browser window and select Settings.
   The Settings page opens.
2. Click System and performance in the left panel.
3. In the Optimize Performance section, click Add to the right of Never put these sites to sleep. The Add a site dialog box opens.
4. Enter https://portal.adolus.com/ in the Site field and click Add.
   The dialog box closes and the FACT URL displays in the Never put these sites to sleep list.
