Bulk edit product files

To save time and effort, you can perform a single edit on one or more product files. This is an easy way to manage multiple product files at once. You can select any number of files on a single page and then make the following changes to them: change the version status, release products, mark products as private, and delete products.

1. In the sidebar, select Files > Product Files.
2. Select the desired report.
3. Select the product files you want to edit as follows:
   • Click the check box in the list heading to select all product files on the current page.
     OR
   • Click the check box to the left of each product file that you want to edit.

    Important

   All product files must be on the same page. You can’t multi-select items across pages.

4. Click the action at the top of the list that you want to perform:
   • Make Version 'Supported'
   • Make Version 'Update Recommended'
   • Make Version 'End-of-Life'
   • Make Available
   • Make Released
   • Make Private
   • Move to Trash
   All selected product files are edited, marked, or moved as specified.
   
   

    Important

   When you mark files as released, make sure you add the appropriate release date to each file. See Edit the product release date for details.
